I am currently teaching Didcatics for High school students in the English Teaching Program at Universidad Católica del Norte (Antofagasta-Chile). I hold a Post-Graduate degree in Applied Linguistics and an MA in Education from Universidad de Tarapaca (Arica-Chile). My research interests are related to applied linguistics, English teaching material design, pre-service EFL teacher education, and social justice in education. I have authored 6 books on English teaching. And as part of a funded goverment research project I am also writing articles mostly related to EFL pre-service teacher education and the process of writing in EFL.
